Yo,

Im a fairly new face to Live, and am currently running live on a G4 powerbook with an audiophile, x-session and x-station. I also have a pioneer CDJ800 which I would like to be able to use in conjunction with Live.

Is it possible to sync a cdj800 with live and if so how do i do it?

Any help would be much appreciated.

you could use a BPM counter on the CDJ800 that outputs midi-clock and sync ableton live to this midi clock as a slave

this one also:

check the Usable Tempo Control Via MIDI article on this site. You just alter the tempo in live and beat match like you would with decks takes a bit of practice but it can be done, if you can mix you can do this. Do a search adamjay uses it all the time with success and give further details on how it can be achieved :)

Quick related question:Is the numark axis 9 the only cd- turntable with MIDI sync? Is there anything else?
