I was at a friend's studio and was very impressed with MOTU Mach 5. It is very simple to use and the IRCAM Granular synthesis produced some amazing sounds right on the spot and quick. Does anyone use this program? I didn't get that long to delve into it but it seemed to be quite a step over Live 9 sampler and at least in my friend's studio the sound quality was excellent. I looked around and it doesn't seem like they offer a demo on this program so it would be a leap of faith.

I'm using mach5 with live and studio one 2 without problems

it's very easy to use (never used a sampler before ....) compared to kontakt

not the time to learn scripting (lua language based )

groove3 tutorial is a good starting point (the included manual describes all features, but videos are better)
