Was working on a track yesterday all notes were max velocity, the velocity tool is ok at best. There should be an option to randomly adjust the velocity between the set numbers of velocity.

That's one of the many things the velocity tool can already do. Very easily.

there's a few presets if you don't understand it. Pick one that involves the word 'random' for a starting point.
