Push playhead disappeared...

I've restarted my PC, Push etc. Push's step sequencer playhead is not visible anymore in both step sequencer modes. Live 9.1.1 32 bit, windows 7.
Does anyone know what is causing this? I wonder if it's to do with the Ubermap tweaks, although I have completely removed them, as it screwed up too many things, like the community mappings, even macroknob names etc.
Ah well, gonna download 9.1.2 beta then.

Well, Beta 1.2b2 fixed my issue, although I've lost some of Stray's scripts - fine parameter tuning and double tap encoder to reset to default, as well as triant's SeaPush colour scheme. Not the end of the world. The playhead is more important
Community mapping still a-ok, tried to copy Stray's Push script straight over from Live 9.1.1, rendered Push useless. Perhaps I'm forgetting one of the steps.
All is well though. Back to creating racks for every Satin preset to browse from Push then...if anyone is interested in these, gimme a shout.
EDIT just noticed in the beta - plugin windows now stay where you left them when you last saved the project, as well as keep the size they were at last, which relates to u-he plugins, which are resizable. Splendid!
If this was already the case, feel free to burst my bubble.

hey tedlogan, I checked out the latest beta too and realised that Stray's scripts are broken. I personally can't live without them so I'm back on the point release.
I think the reason the play head stops showing is due to a bug if you have 'Loop' toggled ON in Arrangement view. Turn it OFF and the play head will reappear.
How obscure is that?

yes, I read about the loop+playhead bug, but this was not the issue in my case. It must be something even more obscure. Love Stray's scripts, but for now, I can live without them. I'm too lazy to reinstall 9.1.1 and go through all the checklists of what could be causing what. I'm leaning towards Ubermap screwing something up possibly (which I was warned about).
I also realised in the Ubermap process of mapping complex VSTs, that it is much better and more practical to build patches with a mouse and keyboard than stubbornly trying to do so with Push. I'm only referring to Zebra here btw - Ubermap would be great for many other VSTs. I now prefer building racks for each preset with the 8 macro knobs being unique to each preset. This focuses more on performance than tinkering, which is hugely beneficial. Once again - too many options result in no results.
Balls, I'm going off on a tangent again.

apparently changes a few things around in how Push interacts with Live. It's not a big change in features though, as the beta site tells me.
Stray already has a beta out for PXT that is compatible with it.
Would you mind listing these interaction changes? I haven't seen anything noteworthy here

I've only used Beta 1.2b2 for a few hours now, but did not notice anything odd, apart from one instance where I could not select any track at all via the track select buttons, in track mode. Had to select tracks via Select button+any clip/empty pad in the desired track. Hasn't happened since.
Gonna have a search for Stray's updated scripts.

For the sake of clarity, my
Push script mods are strictly compatible with 9.1.1. I will look at making a 9.1.2 compatible version once 9.1.2 is released.
For PXT-Live, a new 9.1.2 compatible
beta version is available (this adds 9.1.2 compatibility as well as some new features). And, for PXT-Live Plus, a 9.1.2 compatible
patch is available (this strictly adds 9.1.2 compatibility).
