Hello,
I have some problems with Live 4.1.2 under OSX 10.3.3 - 9 on my Powerbook (G4 1.5 GHZ, 1.5 GB RAM, RME Multiface(11ms Latenz))...

If I start the Powerbook and load in Live the first Song, there are audio Glitches with plays the first Operrator note.

If I insert a new channel (Midi or audio) on a running Sequencer, i hear small audio Glitches. The same is also with inserts a VST Instrument on a running Sequencer...

Does someone have same Problems on the Powerbook?

Maybe the problem comes from the VST plugins.Wich VST's do you use?
Try to open the song with out VST's.
Or load some of your samples to RAM.
How many tracks are you runing?Stereo?Mono?

I have a PB 667Mhz with 768MB Ram with RME multy face Latency 11ms no problems so far.

Hello,

I use only Midi traks with the Ableton Plugins and in this Arragment no Audio Track. CPU Monitor is on max 15%.

I had post this question in a german forum, too...

If you use midi plugins ....maybe you put your latency to 23ms........
because some plug need latency ....like virtual synth
for my use my latency depend how much plugins I put , and wich one....
But my basic config is 6ms (look the rme manual about latency ) 574 samples ....
and 7ms correction for recording (RME Multiface + live 4.1.3)

maybe this help you
