i dont care about any sort of limiting or compressing BS, i just want a simple way to increase the decibles of my songs by 4-6 decibles.

i just want my exported songs to be similar in volume compared to other songs in i-tunes.

if anyone tells me to compress or limit more they can suck it

TO MAKE THINGS CLEAR I WANT NO ADVICE ON HOW TO MIX AND MASTER TRACKS, ONLY ON HOW TO MAKE THE LEGITIMATE DECIBLES GREATER THAN THEY WERE BEFORE WITHOUT CHANGING HOW I MIXED EVERYTHING

If you want the level of your exports to be 6dB louder, my suggestion would be to turn the volume up by 6dB.

so there is no way that there isnt some simple way to increase the output of my tracks. it should be as simple as turning a knob or something, i dont understand it should be way more simple.

If your track is already peaking at 0dB then that's as loud as it goes. Do you have the normalize option on?

No, the best option is to re-read everything and entertain the possibility that this is a troll/mult. Start with the poster’s name and move on from there.

I think it's Tarekith, talking to himself.

If any element is overpowering, it can eat up your levels. Like if you had boosted the EQ on bass, you might already be almost in the red without even adding any other elements. Then when you add your maracas and guitar, you might get in the red and have to make your track 'quieter'.

This isn't merely as simple as cutting frequencies, using primarily subtractive EQ, and finding a good mix balance. You need knowledge and experience.

Make more tracks and get better at it.

Or pay someone that can make it happen with all their Experience.

I think you're all misunderstanding, due to sloppy grammar. What our friend here meant was "Ableton export too quietly", as in 'it doesn't seem like Ableton are putting any work into these exports", and I agree. I mean, it's just all a little too matter-of-fact-like, with the rendering and dithering. What we need is Gerhard and the others humming a jaunty tune, maybe something in the veins of "hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to work we go."

Put earplugs while mixing and rendering. 100% ANALOG.

Put on 3 compressors and 3 limiters on everything. That seems to be what you want and need on your shit!
