hi all - ive seen a couple racks floating around, but havent found a way to set up good drum rack that can easily access more than than one rack of macros for all the sounds from within push (without using 8 instances of drumazon 8) )

anyone have a slick solution for this?

I don't think there is a better way for now. That is also why I have made a feature request for something better in this link: http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=200776

Basically, an external drumrack / instrument. Read the post from the link, it's all explained there, if you think it's a good idea, then post a "+1" in that thread. The more people vote or ask about it, the more likely it will be implemented in a future update.

But for now I guess we are stuck with those drumracks with one VST and the other pads linked with an external instrument. Having 10 instances running off one VST in a drumrack is a CPU killer.

Do you have Max 4 Live? If so, load one instance of Drumazon, then use Robert Henke's ControlChange8 to map CCs to the VST
http://www.monolake.de/technology/m4l.html

Works really well with Push, but annoyingly the Push won't show the labels you write into the CC8

I've shared the ALS file here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eftdpdrmc2si4 ... umazon.als

I made the rack that's up on d16's website but someone else made way better one with some m4l devices, one in each pad, for mapping the knobs of the currently selected sound.
