Live doesn't find the samples ather platform change

If I copy a song to another hd (from PC to Mac), Live doesn't find the appropriate audio files and I have to reassign them one by one.
Way to reproduce: save a song as self-contained on PC, transfer it on a Mac and load the als on Mac: the audio files are not found automatically - they have to be re-assigned manually, which is much work.
Other users seem to have the same problem. Is there a workaround or a fix for that in sight?
