Panning in Ableton to get a better mix

I have heard a lot about panning in ableton live. I just wrote an
article on panning with live and how to improve it with the Utility. The article goes over how Ableton goes about panning by reducing volume of left or right, but might not be what you are looking for. I then go into the utility, how making use of it to pan, as well as some other ideas.
Love to hear your opinion on the live panning and how you get a better mix as well.

Nice post and article! I am sure many people don't realize how the panning in Live may not be doing what they actually want it to do. Makes a big difference once one knows this.
Oh yeah and the website is full of nice info! Going through some previous blog posts

I've never really thought about how panning has been implemented in Live. Thank you for your great article. I'm quite confident it will change the way I'll mix my next songs.
