FR:Bounce to new track/channel

would like a option to be able to bounce a selection to new track/channel for fast re-sampling

Did you try freezing and overwrite? Though it's not for a selection.
Freezing and overwriting for Groups would be nice also!

+1. There should be so that you can paint clips in arrangement view, right click, then choose "bounce as audio to a new track.
I know you can do this by first freezing and then flattening the track. Workflow would go like this: 1. duplicate the track by holding ctrl down and dragging it down. 2. freeze the duplicated track, 3. flatten the freezed track, 4. delete unneccessary parts of the flattened track.
You need to wait for ableton rendering for portions that you are not going to use and there is unneccessarily many steps in this process.
