Connecting prophet 600 to ableton (midi issue)

So the synth plays both these midi notes (1/8192):

But if I set the higher note one bar (box) earlier then it won't play the second note only the first.
The same here (1/8192):
It plays this.

Out of curiousity I recorded midi from the synth with arpeggiator on and the exact same gaps were recorded as in the pictures above.
Unison is OFF.
Polymode on the synth is ON.
It must be some midi interpreting issue.
I am using this cable:

The cheap cable is the reason or why can't I make the prophet to play 2 notes starting at exactly the same time?
