I dont know but good idea.., it should be done already rather than asking for such features by host makers or making another filter etc.

FruityLoops has a video plugin. I haven't tested it thoroughly, but already I can tell you that floops rewired to live or as a vstI is a lot more fluid and accurate than doing sound to video internally in logic!!

fruityloops express edition + optional video player plugin = $83
- acceptable if you can find a use for fruityloops in your setup - it's pretty neat for drum-sound manipulation and larger fx setup in my experience - or if you're going to do pro audio for video (once you get used to working with live + video, you're hooked!)

btw, it's weird that we still haven't seen a pc version of revision - i bet there are quite a few sound designers that would want to pay up...

maybe this helps...

"Control Winamp from your VST host
I just finished a little plugin (two plugins actually) so you can control winamps payback from you VST host. The playback position of your host is sent to winamp so when your press play in Audiomulch, Winamp should start playing. If your transport is at 30 seconds in Audiomulch when you press play then Winamp should start playing at 30 seconds into the current track. This should be handy if you want to score movies using hosts that don't have built in media players."

I haven't been able to get revision to work as a video slave (which would be perfect). It only seems to work as a rewire master. This works fine except that Live will not support plugins as a rewire slave, so you lose all your third party VSTs. You can still use Live native effects and simpler, but no third party stuff. Other wise it's cool.

I have just saved your day - People read below

I have just found the perfect thing for PC users ....

Here's the Link

VST -> Winamp Bridge V0.2 (alpha release)

http://dmi.smartelectronix.com/

Allows you to sync any winamp playable file format on PC with your host.
And it works as a VSTi within the host you are using :D .

I didn't have any success with Winamp Bridge, it freezes my Live....But I am so wanting this plugin to work. I've been waiting for this for far too long.

Fruity loops works good but it can be very CPU hungry having it and Live open at once (I still have a Pentium 3). A bare bones skinned Winamp will play video rather nicely. I will celebrate the day it works, :D
