2013 rMBP 2.6GHz crashing...?!

Anyone experiencing system crashes with Mavericks? Not Ableton crashes, but system shutdown/reboot.
I was having problems launching VSTs "wrapped" by AutoCrap but have since deleted AM and sticking to mapping myself.
Last night was a new beast. I'm guessing it was a heat issue, tho I'm unsure. After the crash I launched my temp mon and it read 179°F, which is pretty f'ing hot. Especially since having only 4 tracks running.
The Apple error log read something about USB problems. I'm using an Anker USB 3.0 hub. Had an Impulse 49 and AudioBox hooked to it. So... Seems pretty fishy. I guess I'll ring AppleCare tomorrow.

Lots of people have experienced crashing with Mavericks. Seems like it is best avoided at the moment.
