the editing parameters are very limited, making a complete wave editor allowing you to do simple things like crop recorded wave files to make that annoying dead air/cpu consumption go away. something simple so we dont have render a single file just to do it.

I'd rather not have Live bloated with extra features like this. I like the program an HD footprint be as small as possible. :) Less code to get messed up - greater stability.

Get an external editor of your choice (Audacity is free) an get that to launch from within Live when you need editing done!

Cheers,
Mikael

I agree, Lo-Fi Massahkah! No good to fill Live up with stuff like that - I use WaveLab myself to edit my loops/clips, and can't see the need at all for what qoile ask for!

if you think about it though, live pretty much already has wave editing features, why not consolidate, maybe a lil reorganize of features already present, and bam! like i said before there is alot of wave editing features already in live, maybe just a plug-in like operator. i too think live is awesome, quick and simple, i also already use audacity!, just food for thought, most wave editing proceedures are within live just not out in the open, all in all that type of reconfig wouldnt bog down live either! :!:
