proper "track delay" / nudge...?

I think best way to describe this feature request is to open NI Traktor. There you have above the track waveform a horizontal bar that tells you how much the track is delayed or nudged.

Sometimes I wish the same was in Ableton. In tractor you can modify this control without interruption in the sound but in Ableton sound is always interrupted when you touch the track delay. And the control is too sparse too, you have only 1ms resolution.

If you click the [ms] box it switches to Smp/samples with a resolution of 1 sample. As for interruption in sound, I guess that could be improved. I never use the track delay as a real time control personally though.
