Hi Pere. Welcome to the forum. I listened to your track and think you've got the start of a good idea. I liked the guitars but the drums seemed to be going against the rest of the instruments. Hope this is useful.

Always a plaisure to have feedback. The thing is the drums are binary and the guitars are "ternaire" (don't know the english word), that is intended. Maybe it is a little aggressive that's what you mean ?

I like your last song (Your Beautiful) did you write it ?

Here my last song https://soundcloud.com/pere-wallace/little-sound-9

Hi Pere. I likes sound 7. It has something...i don't think drums clash with the guitar, but it should have more feel. Human feel. sometimes it sounds better when things are not exactly on the beat. And drums should move with the guitar. ''They'' should listen to what guitar is playing. If you know what I mean. Don't just quantitize, manually adjust drums notes ,some behind the beat ,some ahead of the beat. Or something different. Depends on the feel.

I like the concept of doing little sounds. 8)

Hi Army Ant,

What a good advise, this is something I knew, but didn't put it in words. I'll follow your advise for the next sound !

Cheers,
Père Wallace.

I'm glad my comment had a positive effect on your will to make music. :)

Well, I could talk about everything that I realized while playing drums, and doing music...but that would be too much for now :D .. so i can't really give you advice before I hear your next track.
I'm pretty fresh in virtual music world. I've been doing it for almost a year now. Learning about mixing and stuff. It was much easier when I could just sit at my instrument and play. Now I need 2 hours to make a beat I would usually play in 2 minutes.

Cheers

hey Pere,i actually made a ''little piano sound'' yesterday. I will post a soundcloud link to it. If you like it,download it , add other instruments to it. Make something out of it.

then post a link back so I can hear what you did of it. 103 BPM

Let's call it collaboration. :D

Hey Army,

Good idea. I'll try to do something and post back.

I tried to import the file, but at 103 bpm, it's very fast. Are you sure it's 103 (at around 60bpm, I have the same as in soundcloude) ?

Edit: Ok, I figured it out, I had to set the bpm in the option of the audio clip :), not the set.

Cheers
