AU / VST w/ built in - Arp?
Anyone using a good AU / VST synth with a solid arp built into it
I w as looking at the Novation K - Station (?)
what about Native-Instrument synths - I'm not seeing the arp (even though I guess you can write a script for Kontakt 2)
later

check out Linplug Albino, or better yet the Filterscape bundle (filter,synth,eq) from www.u-he.com

I wonder if it writes the arp to midi notes??Machinate wrote:i'd take the filterscape over albino anyday. but hey, isn't this almost blasphemic, since L I V E 5 will be sporting this thing of beauty?
this would be a realy nice feature in midi chord as all notes being pressed at the same instance with same velocity sounds a little robotic..
hurry up.... mr squigle....
chord->velocity effect with randomization should do it.
the midi effects are post-sequence, and are not passing the notes on to the sequence afaik. I suspect it's the same thing with the arp. HOWEVER;
Use an "input track" which only houses the midi effects, and then forwards the midi to the track that has the sequences and vsti/midi out. that way you can record your arps+tweaks for editing.
