This is driving me nuts.

I am trying to render a midi track with a VSTi to a s single audio clip but I am not getting a resultant clip

1) VSTi Midi track 5 audio to set to audio 1
2) Audio track 1 is set to Audio from Midi track 5
3) Audio track 1 is armed to rceord.
4) Midi track 5 play activated.

Results are that the levels in Audio 1 are lit up but no audio clip is created.

Audio 1 is armed and is receiving input. So, why is no audio clip created?

I hope someone can straighten me out.

Well maybe this bug will be fixed in Live 5!

Though it was supposed to be working in VS 4!

OK I got it now. I did not know that I had to hit the empty clip button!
