How do I record push mutes into arrangement?

I just realised after recording into arrangement a 12 minute jam while in session that none of the mute actions were recorded 
I thought it was my mistake as I didn't hit Automation beforehand, just the Shift + Record (PXT Live). Tried with Automation armed and while Solos are recorded (speaker on/off) mutes are not. So I've turned off exclusive solo to give me some toggle control per track but this still can only get the control for 8 solos at a time so I'm still missing the mute function! Is there a way around this?

I think I messed up button presses between pxt and default not sure what because I still had volume sweeps recorded but no mutes?
