Recording Lead-in Time?

I have a piano part that I want to play, and I have a chord that I'm staggering while recording (playing the notes of the chord slightly off-set, rather than the chord all at once). How can I set up Ableton to pick up the notes I'm playing slightly before beat 1 of the loop?
