The ability to edit and play with already rendered audio in arrangement view is a big feature of Live.

But it is a hassle to have to take clips into arrangement to do that.

I would like the following features to be available in Session view

- Delete, cut, copy and paste audio within clips
- Merge consecutive clips into one clip
- Consolidate clips in session view (e.g. after warping)

All of which should be doing without incorporating a full featured audio editor within Live.

it would be cool, but I've gotten so used to just quickly dumping the clip(s) into the arrange view to edit and consolidate, that at this point I'm not sure I'd go about it any other way.
