I'm trying to control my Bass Station II with Push, however there are no VSTs for the BSII yet. Ctrlr is an option however when I try to use Live's 'Plug-in Configure Mode' clicking on parameters in the VST is fruitless. Auto-populating the VST using Options.txt presents parameters that seem to have no effect on the 'panel' in Ctrlr (the custom interface users create for controlling the synth)

I'm wondering- outside of Ctrlr there certainly must be some way to send MIDI CC values via Ableton without having to map a VST? Or some other way to achieve the ends here to controlling external instruments via Midi CC using different means?

Does anybody else have an idea? Would be great for all those users with vintage analogs...



edit: I figured out how to get the plug-in to receive input from Ableton and route it to the output (synthesizer) with MIDI via Push- it's MIDI -> MIDI Thru -> Plug-in Host to Output Device in the VST of Ctrlr in the top menu, but I'm still trying to figure a way to control actual parameters...

I'm sure you buying PXT Live (maybe it's Plus that does the Midi control) is thank you enough for him

Lots of reasons to buy into the pxt series but if you have max for live you should be looking here:
