Deleting VST from Ableton Live and Mac

Hi there.
I like to delete some VSTs.
I have looked at ~Library/Audio/VST and the folder is empty.
But on Ableton Live, under the VST preferences, the .vst files all show but they are 'greyed' out.
It seems that the files are all hidden. How do I delete these plugins? Or how do I make these file 'unhidden' so I can thrash them to the bin?
Any help would be great. Thanks!!!
:)

Have you tried to 'rescan' the vst folder from Live's preferences?

Could just be showing a cache of the vsts prior to deletion

Hey there! I haven't deleted any vst files because they are not showing up on the ~Library/Audio/VST folder on the Mac Finder. The files are not there (or cannot be seen to delete). How do we delete the vst files? Thanks for the reply!! ;)

Oops lol.. Guess I skimmed over that bit.

https://www.ableton.com/en/articles/vst-folder-osx/

Try taking a look in
Macinstosh HD:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
or
Macinstosh HD:/Users/[username]/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/

:)
