I normally draw my automation in, but I tried to record the automation of a filter cutoff/res sweep using Push, and I just can't get it to record the automation.

Does Push only record session/clip automation?

My track is armed, the Auotmation Arm icon at the top of the screen is highlighted yellow, and then I press record.

It simply records a clip is session view - which doens't contain the midi notes, but shows the automation tweaks.

Can you record Automation into arrangement using Push?!

Yes, but it won't work if your grid is in "session" mode.
