Hey, people, I could really use a hint on this one: I just switched from PC to MAC, but kept the RME soundcard I was using before. I thought I finally had the dream material. And than, on the RME website I discover that they have had a hard time with the driver for the new aluminium powerbook series. They say they solved the problem with a flash update tool extra for new powerbooks, but it does not work for me: I still have many cracks in the MIDI controls I make (I use Live, recording in the sequencer, and with an armed audio channel, an armed MIDI channel and a MIDI keyboard for Live's MIDI controls.) On PC my screen would sometimes freeze by constant high CPU, but I never had problems with the sound. On MAC my operative system is OSX 10.3.8. Does somebody have an idea?

i have the same setup you have got, i did not need to do the flash update as i bought my RME after the flash updates were being shipped with the cards.

i havnt had a single problem for months....dont even go on here much anymore for that reason, only here to check out live 5 info.

contact RME directly about it....they are very very helpfull and will sort you out im sure....
