filter plugin recommendations

filter plugin recommendations
can anybody recommend a nice housey style filter plugin. if possible a free one. i'm currently using Kjaerhus Audio' classic filter but is a little heavy on the cpu. any advice.

how would you set it up for either high or low pass sweeps with a single assignable knob. when the knob is zeroed no signal processing is heard. can this be done i dont want to punch the effect in and out.

yeah does the trick not to fancy but works fine. l like the classic as you make it go a little crazy with the envlopes and sync it to tempo. the classic has a mix setting so you can have a dry signal.
