Is it just me, or is everything tighter? I was bummed with 9.1.3 and felt everything was sloppy and funky.

It sometimes feel difficult to notice because there's always bugs and missing features, but they do work hard to make Live better.

Well, it's just that since I updated, I've opened a shitload of projects, all have worked (except one, which was an issue on all other releases) and it's snappy. I can add parts, open projects and it seems tighter. Sorry for the general hyperbole, but after 6 hours, it's like "whoa, this is something"

I can't tell if the bugs I'm encountering are idiosyncratic to my evolving sets or from the update. There's just so many to keep track of.

Still didn't make the jump from 9.1.3
Am tired of constantly updating all my scripts and keeping track of which ones still work and which ones don't.

So what's the verdict?!
Is this one ok to sit out, or am I missing great improvements?!

Without going into detail: things do seem better for me with 9.1.4.

Yes it does seem snappier for some reason

Like only the GUI or is the CPU load reduced as well?!
(The later would certainly be a good reason to upgrade)

don't upgrade to 9.1.4.
There are issues with VSTs on the return tracks.

Nope, this was in 9.1.3. So that's one of the reasons to upgrade.

Well, if your not using cracked plugins in your sets I guess you'd better register to the beta and... keep track of and report them. This would benefit everyone.

So is it safe then? I'm still on 9.1.2 32bit mac. No issues so far but if it improves perfromance then...I'm in!
