Ive been trying to come up with a good sounding bassline for my progressive psy trance track. I've put 4 diff basslines that i think sound good together. My question is that should i layer a group of sounds of the same oscillator? And is it wise to route all my different basslines (which are on individual tracks of their own) to one audio track for a final mix of the bassline? And if there are any other tips you guys have to share please do. As this is one of the main elements of the track which i am not getting right.
Just to give you an idea, i want my bassline to sound somewhat like hypnagog's. Its nice, fat and round and its gt a clean sound that seems to roll well.
