Ableton Forum

Ummm, Push only shows the parent rack of all the devices in a track....how am i supposed to access the devices from push if there not listed

and this goes for the knobs too...how am I supposed to use the knobs when it only maps to the knobs in the parent rack which i have nothing assigned to....

Per the live manual:

The In and Out buttons allow you to navigate to additional devices and parameters that may not be immediately available.

In and Out Buttons.
Use these buttons to access:

additional banks of parameters (for effects that have more than one bank of parameters).
additional device chains within Racks that contain more than one chain.

omg, i was like, did they really not build that ability into Push...because I've been reading all these horrible reviews of Push on these forums, like it doesnt do this and it doesnt do that and how are ableton so stupid not to put that in.. omg ahahaha

Lol. It's all good. I've found over the years forums/reviews can be the good, the bad and the ugly. I try to take what I read (especially all the negative stuff) with a grain of salt. A lot of times you just have to experience for yourself and then decide. Before I got Push I think I read the online manual and watched all the help videos at least 3 times. There's still stuff I forgot when I actually got mine but reading it gave me a good beginning foundation. Even after having mine since the beginning of the year I still find out stuff about Push that I didn't know. Always learning.
