Bug: Launching Clips from Computer Keyboard

A bug that needs to be fixed in 2.0:
1. Drop a loop into a cell.
2. Set the clip's launch mode to Repeat.
3. Assign a computer keyboard letter to trigger the clip.
4. Set the quantization to 1/16 or 1/8 or whatever.
5. Try triggering the clip.

I get a a repeating loop that sticks at 1/16 (or 1/8 or whatever) in length. The only way to unstick it is to click on the play button for that clip, then it loops all the way through like normal. This sticking does not happen when I assign a MIDI key to a loop in Repeat mode.

Otherwise I 2.0 works great for me!

Cheers,
Philip

Is it this what you're referring to : (from the manual - C:\Program Files\ableton\Live 2.0.1\Docs\UserManual\node28.html ) :
These modes are available for mouse-triggering too; mouse switch-down is the same as a MIDI note on, while mouse switch-up is equivalent to a MIDI note off. However, note that the gate and repeat launch modes are not available when launching clips from computer keyboard keys

Yep, that sounds like it. Thanks for catching that. Just goes to show you should read the manual before complaining. Still, I think it would be cool if Ableton fixed it so computer keys could be used to trig clips the same way as MIDI.
