Clip Properties not saving

I have noticed recently that when saving clips after adding envelopes to clip properties, nothing is saved. I'll go into a clip, write a bunch of volume automation, hit save on the clip, then load it back in and none of the automation is there. This only seems to happen with about half of the clips, but I haven't noticed a pattern.
