IRCAMAX: Cutting Edge Sound Transformation in Live

I just saw these Max4Live devices listed on Ableton's web page...
Does anyone have any experience with these?
Price tag is a bit high, so I am curious...
I did a little research...we're these available for free at one time?
I am looking for devices for live manipulation...it appears that is the function of these devices.
Anyone have any other recommendations?

I am also wondering about these. I thibnk you are right that at least some were free. Seem,s that I missed that. However I am interested in IRCAMS SuperVP technology and the TS software which they have recently released. I have the demo of that and its pretty interesting. However I am unclear as to how much of that technology is included in the SuperVP synth, which is part of the max4live package. I guess it should contain most of it and so it would make sense to get that package rather than the TS software.
As you say a litt;epricey compared to the usual Ableton prices. but may be worth it. anyone else ??

I got these plugs after testing TS. As far as I can tell, SuperVPSynth is very close in functionality to TS (At least I could produce the same kind of tones with identical base material). The other effects are really cool too as they allow you to maniuplate the spectrum of souns in interesting ways.

anyone else having extreme slowdown issues with these plugins?
I'm running waves stuff, UAD and countless others with no issues... these are the only plugins that have caused ableton to choke up.
