Tempest as midi controller for Drum Racks

Hey all
I'd like to use my Tempest as a midi controller for the Drum Racks in Live, and save myself from buying another midi controller for the studio.
But when I connect the Tempest and get midi through to Live, the pads on the Tempest does NOT correspond to a "box" of 16 pads in the Drum Rack.
Do anyone know where I can fix this? I tried playing around with the notes converter in Drum Racks, but that seems to only be for the notes sent OUT of Live, not the incoming notes…
