looking for a few answers to some questions about the APC40 MKII. any assistance with a resolution is GREATLY appreciated!!
1. Is it possible to scroll the wave form with the default settings? If so, how?
2. If #1 is not possible, can the scroll function be midi mapped? If so, how?
3. Is it possible to drop a loop of a specific size on the fly, where ever your at on the waveform? If so, how?
4. If #3 is possible, how to do you control the size after that? can you half and double after the loop has been set?
5. can you midi map the start and end points to a knob, and NOT have the value affected so dramatically?
6. same question as #5, but with the loop start and end position
if you've taken time out to read this and would like to help by responding with a solution, i'll buy you a beer anytime you're in Michigan!! thanks guys!! much appreciated!
APC 40 MKII - Scrolling & Midi Mapping
Re: APC 40 MKII - Scrolling & Midi Mapping
Hey Keizer....
The scroll function is called scrub, when you engage midi mapping there's a number box that appears between the scrub left and right buttons, MIDI map this to an endless encoder and you'll be able to scrub through....
Looping like that isn't a native bit of functionality, we provide it with Max4Live in our Isotonik Template however it's currently only compatible with the APC40 MKI whilst we wait for our MKII to be delivered, all subscribers will get the new template when ready but we can't give any timescales yet.... Halving doubling and moving are all features of the template...
Start and End values agin to an endless encoder otherwise you only have 127 steps and on a longer clip it'll jump dramatically...
Cheers
