Hi Folks,
just wanted to let you know about the vsti presets I started to convert into instrument racks these days for a few instruments. Maybe they might be of use to some people.

By now the following instruments are covered (2014/10/20):

- Air Hybrid3
- op-x pro2
- pianoteq stage 5
- X-fer Serum
- sylenth 1
- tal bassline 101
- tal uno-lx
- z3ta+
- tyrellN6 v3

...and the following audio-fx-racks:

- blockfish
- camel crusher
- gloop
- luftikus eq
- molot
- reaeq
- reverberate le gpu
- sonitusfx
- tnt
- variety of sound

Further information:
By now (october 2014) ableton push has some drawbacks regarding the use of 3rd party vst instruments. To make presets show up in push one must do something like this

- insert the vsti in an instrument rack (strg+g aka cmd+g)
- select a preset
- save as an instrument rack for each preset

so imagine the following: you have a vsti like op-x pro-2 with say approximately 1500 presets....
for software's sake there are macro writing tools that can be used to automate the task, and so here are my first attempts in vsti preset banks for ableton push.

about the instrument racks, what has been done to each preset in the same way for all vst's:

? assigned the majority of parameters to the encoders in push. those will show up in banks of 8 parameters, as push has 8 parameter knobs.
the first bank usually is setup with filter settings for encoders 1-4 and VCA envelope for encoders 5-8,
the following banks differ but usually i tried to keep things straight forward, like putting envelopes to the second half of the encoders

? i kept the naming scheme of the original presets, but in some cases i used additional folders for categories.

? all banks are written in capitals, presets are not. this was done to make things a bit more obvious when using the push display for browsing

usually i didn't assign macros, there are some strange things happening sometimes. so go directly to the banks when you want to access the parameters.
? I attached an eq3 effect plugin behind the vsti in some cases.
to leave it as an option it has been muted, so this behaviour is intended.
You can read "eq" or "no eq" in the names of the rar-files, so choose what suits you best.
If names do not have anything written about eq they are with eq

Feel free to use the presets as you like free of charge. But keep in mind, take them as they are, maybe they are not perfect ;-).
In case, let me know, i´ll try to fix asap.

If you like, you can donate and support the development of new presets and update of existing ones.
Thank you.

You find the downloads over here.

Cheers,
schon ok

Nice. Thanks for your contribution

I have done the same for Sylenth, Z3ta+2, Omnisphere, Trillian and also offer these free to download. I might check out your Sylenth to see how you managed your MIDI mappings compared to what I did.

Thanks for this. I did the same for the two TAL Synths but w/o mapping the parameters. I will trash mine and use yours 8)

Hi,guys,

thanks a lot for the feedback. I´ll keep the presets updated. Try to do the parameter assigning for at least the first banks to be the same where possible.

Also, I uploaded some audio fx racks, check them out over here

Yes, that might be interesting for both of us ;-) At your site I looked at the instrument rack for omnisphere and you used for bank A filter and amp envelopes, I did the same for my presets. It makes perfect sense to put the most important stuff in the first banks. 8 encoders though isn´t always a good number, it would be nice to be able to even leave out some of them blank to not having to mess with different banks for the same category. And being able to name the banks would also be a good idea ;-)
Haven´t found sylenth on your site though...

Hi Jester, I dont see the Z3ta+2 presets on your site, I would love to get my hands on them!

I am gonna have a look at autoIT tonight and see if I can figure it out then I have quite a few VSTs to get through, sampletank 3 at 4000 presets is quite daunting to do manually! (I will be sharing any that I do here btw)

Hi, Greeny
good to some more contributors to the preset building task. 4000 presets are really a lot. But honestly, noone builds presets by hand (that´s why IMHO presets should be shared for free). If you don´t want to work your way around autoit take a look at jitbit macro recorder, which does the job for me (unfortunatly they take money but it´s supereasy to lern).

Cool thanks for the heads up on jitbit, perfect! I really wanted those Z3TA+2 presets in my push so I went ahead and did them. Here are all the presets that are included with the steam version, I dunno if it is the same for non steam users.

Included are

Factory Content
Polybius
Z3ta+ classic content

I only mapped 1 bank of controls for just the AMP envelope and the filters cutoff/res since I dont really need to access anything else from push. Take it as is and enjoy :)

More to come soon!

Wow, amazing! That´s specially funny, because I just ordered Z3TA+2 at the pluginboutique with the 50% halloween discount, and thanks to your afford have it ready to go with push.
Thanks, mate.
Also, I tried the Polybius presets although I don´t actually have those banks installed. No problem, Z3TA+2 loads them as well :-)

Ah the polybius one is the one I was worried about I did not really want to give away presets that weren't included by default, oh well nevermind they give it away with the steam version so I dont feel terrible about it :D

I did 3 other banks of presets aswell but didn't include those as they are paid for add ons and I dont want to be giving away peoples work for free!

Great. Another interesting fact about the z3ta+2 is it's ability to load presets from z3ta+1
