'Note' button not switching tracks to step sequence mode

When playing with Ableton instruments in Push, my 'Note' button isn't switching my track to step-sequence mode, am I missing something? an update maybe?

I too have this problem/glitch = when working with any instrument (apart from drum racks, for those step sequencing is fine) the second press of the 'Note' button does nothing. Videos+manual indicated that it should do so.

Is there any special karma fiddling or procedures needed?

Curios/drove mad about the fact that the button itself works (i can switch from session to note view, use step sequencing for drums)

Any comments and ideas are welcomed (have searched thru` the forum before posting this)

make sure you are on at least version 9.1

I also noticed a switch sluggishness in Push since 9.1.6 release on this department. Let's try and find out how to reproduce this so we can give Ableton a problem to solve.
