Hi,
I recently released an app called Fingertip MIDI, which is based on an Ableton Live session I did. It's great for coming-up with chord pregressions, and meloldies.
Here's some tips on using it:

and here's a vid with an free Ableton session you can download and try it with:

Please let me know what you think of it.

Chord Progressions & Melodies With Fingertip MIDI
Re: Chord Progressions & Melodies With Fingertip MIDI
just bought it for iphone.
it was very unclear how the app is setup overal, did it send chord data or only single notes? After downloading and turning on the notes I now see that you can turn on the notes and see what you are playing. I expected to have a specific key vs being able to scroll through everything. The iPhone screen is pretty small, so you need to focus on simple passages to get usable results. Had issues with latency, but i was able to go and quantize after.
A very fun way to play and generate parts, I'm quite happy with my purchase.
