Custom Scripting for LaunchControl XL, Livid DS1

Hey guys, so I purchased both the Novation LaunchControl XL and Livid DS1 mixer MIDI controllers and am trying to figure out which one I want to stick with. My main problem is that (surprise surprise) the included MIDI Remote Scripts don't do everything I want them to do. Specifically I want the DS1 to be able to auto map the top 3 rows of knobs to three sends and then have the bottom two rows of knobs maps to the high pass/low pass frequencies of an EQ Eight I have on every channel. For the Launchcontrol, the script is pretty much perfect but I want the third row of knobs to map to a 1 knob DJM style high pass/low pass filter of an EQ eight that on every channel.

Is customizing the MIDI Remote Scripts the only way I can accomplish this? If so how do I do this and how difficult is it?

Thanks.

Are you wanting the controls to follow when you move the red box?

That would be nice but isn't essential...I don't need more than 8 channels.

The why wouldn't you just use direct MIDI Mapping??

I have a bunch of songs I've worked on already and want to avoid having to apply same mappings for each project, that would be really time consuming.

For the DS1 contact Amounra through the LIVID forums, for the XL you;ll need to do some mapping but we've got a remote script that we're working on that might help... There a M4L device planned that would allow you to do mappings through it... But really MIDI mapping direct is what you need....

Your making a ton of work doing anything other than that....
