Please update Live 9 for 4k displays (HiDPI) on Windows 8.1
Please update Live 9 for 4k displays (HiDPI) on Windows 8.1
I have a 4k display (3840 x 2160) I understand that this is new technology but viewing Ableton live ( 9.1.6 ) on this display is painful and extremely blurry.
At 100% DPI scaling the text is really small and hard to read from a distance but it's sharp.
On 150% DPI Scaling in Windows it looks really blurry and doesn't scale properly
At this point if Ableton doesn't support higher DPI scaling for windows I'm afraid I'll have to sell my display and get a 2560 x 1440 one. But that's a hassle for me.
Currently I can't install OSX Yosemite to get the added benefits of DPI Scaling because I'm running on the x99 chipset and it doesn't support it.
Please add support for Hi DPI scaling on Windows 8.1

Talk about first world problem!
Nah, I'm kidding. It's weird that they've apparently fixed this on Mac, but haven't made any move in Windows land?

Would also like to make use of a high resolution monitor. Gotta make use of all that space!

+1
I'm using Live on laptop with Windows 8.1 and 2880x1600 display, support for Windows native scaling would be very welcome.
Meanwhile, one thing to try for users of high DPI displays on Windows is to "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" in Compatibility settings of the .exe file, and then use Live's internal scaling options (Preferences > Look/Feel > Zoom Display).
This will result in sharper graphics and sharper text in Live GUI (especially in Live 9.2), with the downside that VST plugin GUIs will still use 100% scaling and may appear too small.

Is this in the works at all? Would really appreciate this feature.
