Ableton position state view

Hi there,
little question.
Hope is not to complicated to understand.
In every ableton track is this little round bar
wich let you know when the clip or loop starts again.
I hope you know what i mean.
Is there a tool, plugin m4l patch or a way to see this
track state view in BIG ?
Im in a live looping situation.
For example i will start to play over
an eight bar loop.
Sometimes i start on the 5 and not on the one.
And for timing of external effects (without hearing a metronom)
it would be very nice if have a big viev, when the beat is on the 1 again.
Hope someone can help me out.
