The way I like to work is to get everything down til I am happy with it then export each channel individually so I am working purely with audio then once I am working with the audio I will start making a few finer edits without having the midi option there for me to change something 1000 times.

I will then export these stems again so I am just wondering if I am losing any quality by doing this several times as apposed to once?

Depends.

If you keep the bitrate and sample rate of your audio signal constant, then no, you don't lose any quality. That's the beauty of working in a digital medium.

But conversions of the above would cost you quality each time.

Turn off warping for all the clips when you drag the audio files into a new session too. They're already at the correct tempo at that point, no need for it.
