Hey guys -
I'm a sample developer and a huge lover of Ableton Live. This is the first Ableton Pack I've created, and I'd love some feedback. I think I did everything correctly but let me know ! It should work for 8 and 9.
So, these are awesome, prince sounding drums recorded through API, Neve, SP-1200, Tape Machine and Apogee.

Enter this coupon at checkout, good for 15 peeps:
livelive
Any feedback on the live pack would be great - are the instructions clear / correct? PC instructions vs Mac?
Thanks!

Nice but after paying you don't get the d/l link emailed to you nor is it within the customer account - why ?!
The only time i would have been able to d/l was right after payment within the checkout process but that's it.That's a no-no, in my case i'm not able to d/l
right now because i'm currently on a slow connection. So what am i supposed to do when i get home and want to download my product ?
Really, you HAVE to make sure the customer can d/l their paid for stuff WHENEVER it's convenient for THEM.
EDIT: Ok, now the d/l link has been emailed to me but that was like 7 minutes after i had finished the order transaction - way too long because it makes people nervous about having paid but not getting the product etc.And the d/l link still doesn't show up in my customer account which is where it should always reside in the first place.
Just sayin

Hey - most of the time it's available instantly. Sometimes it can take 5 minutes which is frustrating but not much I can do there. And you always get an email with the link, and you can download it 3 times over the course of the next week.
Anyways, you should have received this for free with the coupon above.

Well you asked for feedback so that's why.My point is make sure the d/l link is sent as quickly as possible and also make sure the d/l link is within the customers account (not time limited) to establish customer's trust.

thanks, you did a good job.
one small quibble is that the default rack in your Live project has super-hot levels...

Who's your download provider? I searched for ages and tried a few finally settling on Send Owl who are superb...
They give a link whereby someone can enter their email address and get their downloads resent to them without the need for interaction on your part, saves a lot of time as the subscriber list grows!
let me know if you'd like more details...
Cheers

Cool, I made it so downloads don't expire until 1 year later!
I'll bring the levels down. I like low levels, but I always feel like I have to compete with people that expect loudness. But forget that.
I use downtownHQ - which is awesome when the downloads are instant. They say it's shopify's fault people have to wait 5 - 7 minutes sometimes (which would bother me too, although not when somebody is offering me a free DL

)
I'm going to check out send owl later tonight.
