Hey LIVELAND, I just got the Axiom 2nd gen and am using it with LIVE.

Does anyone have any tips to get it to work better?

I would like to HOLD the INST button on the Axiom and get LIVE to open and close the plugin instrument selected.

I would like to use the PATCH up and down arrows to get LIVE to scroll through the select instrument patches.

What works good with the same settings is that Axiom track < > arrows scrolls through the tracks just fine and the transport works great and so does the mute/solo.

My setting are:

in midi prefs in LIVE,
axiom direct link set for control surface
axiom direct in for midi in
axiom direct out for midi out

in the midi devices i/o below:

axiom direct in set for track on
axiom USB in, track on, remote on
axiom direct out set for track on
axiom USB out, track on, remote on


So far I don't have the Axiom set to any certain program number on the unit physically and my DUMP is unelectable in the midi/prefs on LIVE.

I would appreciate any tips on how to set this up better.
