Auto-populate track numbers based on apc40 position?

Any chance of a max for live device that allows track numbers to be changed based on the position of the apc40 ring? Can anyone build it?
Let me explain...
Let's say I have 10 tracks in a set. When 1-8 are selected on the apc, the #'s in the track titles correspond with the 1-8 written on the apc. But let's say I have 2-10 selected on the apc, now the #'s don't correspond. Is there any way to make them correspond so it is easier to look at say, current track 5 and make adjustments, instead of having to figure out the position?
