Ohmicide: Melohman in Ableton Live - how to?

Hey all,

I´m trying to get my brain around how to route MIDI Data into Ohmforce Ohmicide on a (MIDI or Audio-)Track in Ableton to switch presets of Ohmicide (what Ohmforce calls Melohman - the 12 litte dots looking like a toy keyboard in the upper right corner of the VST/AU UI.)

My questions:
- how do I route the MIDI data into Ohmicide?
- is there a way to Monitor this MIDI Data incoming in Ohmicide?

hope someone can help me around…

thx, a

Check the Ohmicide manual. I remember scratching my head over this problem too. I was able to make it work, but Ohmicide has some strange midi settings or something like that. Dont really remember.

1. New MIDI track, set the Output to the track with Ohmicide on it, and then choose the Ohmicide device within it

2. In Ohmicide, go to the Settings wrench and choose Mehloman Settings, and choose which MIDI Octave you want, as well as any other pertinent info

3. Send MIDI notes from the MIDI track you created, either in clips or by arming the track and setting a controller up for that track. Experiment to figure out which notes trigger which of the preset buttons
