Bad sound glitch when changing channel arm

check out this (half-official) ableton clip. at 7:07 there is a sound glitch that pretty much sums up one of my big tech problems right now.

when arming a track, there is a pretty nasty sound glitch. you can't miss it.

if i didnt have it myself i would have thought its the youtube clip popping, but its from Live.

Ableton, is this something you can address? It has to do with monitoring tracks.

I get it with any latency setup, and on both rme ucx, allenheath and an apollo twin sound card.

I have this problem a lot when using Push for some reason. Under the Options menu there is an Option "Reduce latency when monitoring." Uncheck this and see if it helps.

yea i have this too reduce latency is the only way to make it stop
