Slicing Audio to New-Midi track

Hi everybody,
I already posted this in the push discussion. I thought I would give it a try here as well because it´s not only push-related.
here we go:
I just figured out, how to use custom presets for "slice to midi". it´s great. (unfortunately it seems you can´t create presets with racks inside racks, but anyway...).
I´m looking for a possibility to control "slice to new midi-track" from push.
I couldn´t figure it out in a normal way with m4l. I thought about clyphX and also to assign a custom keyboard shortcut (in mavericks system preferences) that I could send with m4l. the custom shortcut shows up in live´s menue near "slice to new MIDI-track" but it doesn´t work anyway.
why could this be the case?
did anybody find a solution for this? it would be amazing to slice audio clips without touching the computer.
