Ableton Forum

One of my big frustrations with Ableton is the select all function. I wish there was a separate keyboard shortcut for selecting all your clips and selecting all your midi notes. I have a brand new macbook pro and when I try select all my clips it can take more than a minute, and can take a couple minutes to deselect all my clips!!! Extremely frustrating!! 98% of the time I use select all to highlight midi notes and I've had to make a conscious habit of clicking the midi note panel before pressing Command A, but every once of a while I forget and its really annoying. Either create the shortcut or have Ableton recognize which panel its hovered over.
