Hello there all you brilliant Max for Live users...

Anyone feel like building a max device that will enable the Command 8 control surface to work with Ableton?
I know someone out there has the moxie to do it!

I'm pretty sure you don't need M4L here. There must be a way to set it up as a mackie emumation.

If you can modify/configure its midi implementation, then just program it to send those messages (and then select it as a mackie control in the midi preferences):
