M4L device for programming the KingKORG?

I had a KingKORG a while ago. Loved it. Moved to a smaller place and had to get rid of some stuff. The KK's big and it's less than stellar keyboard (no aftertouch? WTF?) made it a no-go for using as a MIDI controller (instead of my Remote 61) so I sold it and funded a Virus Snow.
Now, I like the Snow a lot... but I miss the KingKORG. Still don't have space for it though... unless... I put it on a shelf that's mostly empty now, but too high to see or reach. This would only work if there was a software controller for it... which there isn't. Not a commercial one at least. Is this something that a M4L n00b might tackle? I'm semi literate at coding and Flash Actionscripting if that gives you an idea of my understand of deeper level computer technology. I mostly use Flash Actionscript to mock up user interfaces when I'm working, but I wouldn't dare try and code anything more complicated than that. Engineers usually look at my code and laugh and say, "Yeah, well I guess you might do it like that."
